2014 Virginia Pro-Choice Coalition Day of Action - RVA

This year, the Virginia Pro-Choice Coalition is working harder than ever to advance our most proactive legislative agenda yet and we need your help! From restoring family-planning funding for low-income Virginians to expanding Medicaid for 400,000 uninsured and eligible Virginians, to repealing Virginia’s invasive and unnecessary mandatory ultrasound law.

Unfortunately, extreme politicians in Richmond are more determined than ever to attack the women of the Commonwealth and we need to act now! Over 9 anti-women's health bills and budget amendments have already been filed, including legislation to restrict insurance coverage for birth control, force low-income women to carry to term pregnancies where there is severe fetal anomaly, defund Planned Parenthood and threaten abortion providers with criminal charges.

When you join us, you will receive advocacy training and have the opportunity to lobby your legislators on several important bills impacting women, men and families all over the Commonwealth.

You can attend the entire day or a portion of the day.
