On Tuesday, Republican politicians in the House of Delegates voted to spend $430,000,000 to build themselves a new building and parking deck. Instead of investing in the health care of Virginians, Republican politicians in the House of Delegates are building new office buildings for themselves. This is unacceptable.

Every day the state fails to expand Medicaid coverage to 400,000 eligible, working Virginians, we lose out on $5,000,000 in Virginia taxpayer dollars being returned to the Commonwealth. With those funds, we can ensure that working Virginians are receiving the preventative health care they need now and reinvest in public safety, schools, transportation and other state priorities.

Tell House Republicans that we need health care for Virginians, not brand new offices for politicians.
