At this meeting, attendees
will hear from Kierra Johnson, Executive Director of Choice USA and a
prominent leader in the national reproductive justice and progressive
movements. Learn how reproductive rights intersect with issues of gender, race,
and socioeconomic status and what you can do to support this growing movement.
10:45-11:151 in 4: A Panel Discussion on the Need for Comprehensive Sex Education

At this meeting,
attendees will hear from peer educators and one of Planned Parenthood's very
own educators about the challenges of teaching comprehensive sexuality
education in Virginia.
Hear stories from the field and learn more about what you can do to get
involved in providing Virginia's
teens with quality, comprehensive sex education.
10:45-11:15Pro-Choice People of Faith Gathering
Location: George Washington Statue, Capitol Square
This gathering is for
all people of faith to learn about how clergy have played a key role in the
family planning movement and recognize the day with a prayer.
11:15-11:45Lobby Day Rally
As legislators walk
from the GeneralAssemblyBuilding
to the Capitol, they will see and hear our demonstration for prevention and
women's health.

12:00-12:15Lobby Day Recognition in the Senate and House of Delegates
After the Senate and
House of Delegates begin Session, Pro-Choice Lobby Day participants seated in
the galleries will be recognized from the floor.
