Planned Parenthood Advocates of Virginia Endorses Jeremy McPike

Mr. McPike will be a Vocal Advocate for Access to Comprehensive Health Care

Richmond, VA-Planned Parenthood Advocates of Virginia (PPAV) is proud to announce our endorsement of Jeremy McPike for State Senate in the 29th District. Jeremy received a 100% rating from PPAV.

Mr. McPike who hails from Prince William County is a long-time public servant and advocate for families in his district. As a volunteer firefighter and EMT, Jeremy has been on the front lines of providing health care services to his neighbors and intimately understands the challenges facing the district.

"For the thousands of Virginians who rely on Planned Parenthood health centers, we are dedicated to educating voters on the candidates who will stand up to protect women's access to quality, affordable health care in the Commonwealth," said Cianti Stewart-Reid, executive director of Planned Parenthood Advocates of Virginia. We are proud to stand with Jeremy today because he is committed to standing up for access to the full range of women's reproductive health care."

"As a husband and father, Jeremy believes that every woman and family in the 29th District deserves access to safe, high quality, affordable health care without political interference, a job that pays a living wage and provides a high quality of life, and an education that will prepare our children for the jobs of the future," said Stewart-Reid.

"Jeremy understands that access to safe, affordable health care is essential to the economic well-being of women and their families," continued Stewart-Reid. He will be a strong ally in the State Senate, where he will advance legislation to provide access to critical health care services and he will fight back against efforts to restrict access to reproductive health care and rights."
