It's time to demand accountability from elected officials at the federal, state and local level for the millions of dollars that have been spent on ineffective, inaccurate abstinence-only programs. Only medically-accurate comprehensive sex education allows for responsible decision-making and disease prevention.

get involved in your community
Do you know what kind of sex ed is being taught in your local schools? We need activists all over the state to investigate local sex ed policies and work within their communities to raise awareness and support for medically-accurate education. There are lots of ways to get involved - from writing a letter to the editor to gathering more petition signatures at community events. If there aren't activities planned in your community, get something started on your own!

tell us your story
Personal stories about how your sex education impacted your life in positive or negative ways can be a very powerful. Legislators can lose sight of how dangerous abstinence-only policies affect people's lives and our ability to make thoughtful, responsible decisions about sexuality.
Where did you learn about sex? Did your parents give you "the talk?" What was offered at your school?
