Plan B emergency contraception (EC) is now available over-the-counter for women age 18 and older, but there have been many reports of pharmacists refusing to administer it. In some cases, pharmacists have even refused to prescribe regular birth control!
For example, in Georgia, a pharmacist at a Kroger store refused to provide a woman with EC. Only after a public outcry did Kroger clarify its position and promise that, if one pharmacist refuses to provide contraception or EC, the store will “make accommodations to have that prescription filled for our customer.”
We want to know if this has happened to you! Our legislators won't recognize that this is a problem if they don't know about it. If a pharmacist has refused to give you Plan B or regular birth control, please fill out the pharmacy refusal form by clicking on the link below and email or mail it to us (the contact info is on the form). Planned Parenthood will keep your identity confidential.

Please help us make sure that pharmacists are abiding by the wishes of the FDA, the agency that approved emergency contraception for over-the-counter use, as well as the general public! You can also become part of Planned Parenthood's Pill Patrol, a nationwide
campaign to protect women’s health by ensuring that EC is
available in every neighborhood in America.
