sexual arts and crafts at uva
Each semester, Vox: Voices for Planned Parenthood at UVA holds a Sexual Arts and Crafts Night to provide medically accurate sexuality information to students. There are several interactive stations where students can taste a variety of flavored lubricants, learn how to put on a condom or make a dental dam, have condom races, write letters to legislators, make and decorate condom holders, practice giving self-exams on breast and testicle models and much more. This event is usually attended by over 100 students and has become a campus favorite that everyone looks forward to each semester!

condom fairies
Each Halloween, Vox: Voices for Planned Parenthood members at the University of Virginia break out their wings and wands and hit the town as Condom Fairies! This year participants handed out over 700 condoms at various parties and bars around Charlottesville. In addition to promoting safer sex, the Condom Fairies had people sign “Save Birth Control Now!” petitions throughout the course of the night. The event always elicits a lot of enthusiasm among Vox members and is a great way of interacting with the community.
